The scoring system for the Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant is based on the
categories listed below. All scores will be confidentially provided by individual judges and tabulated by an independent auditor,
with whom the results are kept until the final announcements are made.

These scores are totaled to determine the Top 8 contestants,
who then advance on to the public speaking component of the competition.
Top 8 Competition
These scores are then added to the accumulated total
to determine the Top 4 contestants who then advance on to the impromptu question component of the competition.
Top 4 Competition
These scores are then added to the accumulated
total to determine placement of 3rd Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 1st Runner-up and the winner of Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador.
