Congratulations to Sabrina Jenkins, Director of the Miss Teen Trinity-Conception Pageant, who was crowned the 49th' Miss Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2007 Trinity-Conception Fall Fair in Harbour Grace.

Miss Teen Canada Galaxy 2008

Congratulations to Krista Collins of Churchill Falls on being crowned Miss Teen Canada Galaxy 2008. Krista is the reigning Miss Teen Labrador Achievement (2007), and was named 1st Runner-up at the 2007 Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador Scholarship Pageant, where she also received the Provincial Airlines Academic Excellence Award.

Miss Summer Holidays Achievement 2007

Congratulations to Kristi Bourne, Miss Summer Holidays Achievement 2007, who has received numerous Air Cadet Awards this year. Also, on Canada Day, Kristi was presented with the Canada Day Youth Award for her many contributions to her community (Carbonear).

Miss Winter Carnival 2007

Mount Pearl Youth of the Year 2007

Congratulations to Julia Hiscock, Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador 2007, on being named Mount Pearl Youth of the Year.  Julia was also the winner of Mount Pearl’s youth speak-off contest.  And…the achievements don’t stop there.  She is also the recipient of the Wendy’s Classic Achiever Scholarship valued at $500.  Julia was one of two winners chosen from among 10,000 applicants!  Way to go Julia!

Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation's Loran Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Julia Hiscock, Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador 2007, who has been awarded the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation's Loran Scholarship valued at $75,000. This scholarship will cover Julia's university costs for the next four years, and this is one of the largest scholarships awarded to high school students in this country.

Miss Teen Labrador Achievement 2007

Congratulations to Krista Collins of Churchill Falls who was crowned the FIRST EVER Miss Teen Labrador Achievement on January 20, 2007, in Labrador City.

Miss Teen Western Newfoundland 2006

Congratulations to Katie Flynn, who was crowned Miss Teen Western Newfoundland on July 16, 2006. Katie is also to be congratulated on being crowned Miss Teen Canada Galaxy.

Miss Summer Holidays Achievement 2006

Miss Teen International Canada

Congratulations to Maggie Hynes, 2nd Runner-up at the 2006 Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant, who was named 1st Runner-up at the 2006 Miss Teen Canada Globe Pageant in Toronto.  As 1st Runner-up, Maggie was also crowned Miss Teen International Canada, and will represent our country at the Miss Teen International Pageant in Costa Rica, in January 2007.  At the Miss Teen Canada Globe Pageant, Maggie also received the Miss Teen Public Relations Award for having made the most appearances in her division as a regional titleholder.

Miss Newfoundland & Labrador 2006/07

Congratulations to Aimee Power of Tors Cove, who was crowned Miss Newfoundland and Labrador 2006/07 at the Trinity-Conception Fall Fair in Harbour Grace. Aimee is also the Co-ordinator of the Miss Teen Irish Loop Pageant, an Official Preliminary to Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador.

Congratulations to Sabrina Jenkins, co-ordinator of the Miss Teen Trinity-Conception Pageant on placing fourth at the 2006 Miss Canada Galaxy Pageant in Toronto. Sabrina also received the Pageantry Spirit Award, as well as the award for Best Costume.
